    So pleased with my  Lonicera ‘Graham Thomas’ this year ... its flowering better than ever before ... it covers an area of fence  about 10’ x 6’ up on the Shady Bank right by the roots of the big ash ... I did water it pretty well through last summer’s drought and despite it being in such a dry spot it’s never had mildew 🤞 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    The only proper orange calendula so far.  The others are a vile acid yellow.  I just want an old fashioned single orange one

    That's the one. I particularly like the ones with the lime-green leaves and always weed around them.
