A cloudy day today but then the sun appeared and I was able to take some photos in that lovely light against dark clouds.

Alstroemeria, cerastium and hosta (already full of holes)
    Some more irises
Hosta Ripple Effect, lovely little thing, and so far not discovered (or not liked) by snails
And one work in progress photo (the pergola not yet finished etc.) but I placed the slate yesterday and washed it today and couldn't resist taking a photo of it wet, together with the raised bed full of colour. This whole are was a concrete patio only six months ago.

@Papi Jo I have to agree, I like general views, they are the best for inspiration for planting schemes and general layouts. Or at least groups of plants for combinations inspiration.
But when it gets to taking these photos, there is always something in the picture that shouldn't be there... weeds, a hose, lawn not edged, a bucket, empty pots etc. :)

@Papi Jo & @edhelka I too love general views of gardens, but my garden is tiny and I’m also renting so don’t have the freedom to design it quite as I would like to.

@WonkyWomble your garden is absolutely beautiful ... you should be so proud of yourself ... it’s hard to believe that about four years ago that garden was a tip of an
overgrown yard in Ipswich Central ... you’d hardly ever done any gardening before but you’ve worked so hard and created an absolutely beautiful and tranquil place. Congratulations 😘

Thank you Dove! It's been through trial and error and with a lot of guidance from the wonderful and knowledgeable folks here!
At least you know you have a decent gardener working in your garden next week! 😉x

    Great gardens @edhelka @WonkyWomble and @Yviestevie

Here is my garden for @Papi Jo  It's May but not this year as it's tipping with rain.

How do you make @Papi Jo pink for both words?
