We didn't get to see the moon either - thick fog early morning. It did turn out okay later, a bit chilly but dry again.

I forgot to put the bin out last night so I braved it this morning - cars all iced up as we had rain yesterday evening then a cold night.

Woke up to a dusting of snow on the highest hill top and beautiful ice patterns on the cars caused by the cold, windy weather last night. Blue sky though and no sign of any significant snow yet. Red faces all around at the Met Office again?

Hard frost overnight, following earlier rain, then sunny. A sudden heavy rain/sleet squall around 12.30 to 1 pm , followed by more sunshine. Clouding over now and chilly.

Well we had a couple of snow showers. Proper Christmas card snow, all big flakes gently falling. It's only settled a bit over 1200ft though.
