Have to keep reminding myself that it's mid February and not mid March. According to thermometer,  temperature outside is 16.5 degrees at 1pm, and l can well believe it. Wall to wall sunshine.  Glos.

It was just like this last year actually. February 16th I was walking on the beach down by Penarth in a t-shirt.

  • Looking at the jet stream predictions, looks good maybe a glitch on 18th as it splits and dips low but on to the 2nd when the forecast ends stay's fairly high or certainly over the UK so cold nights maybe with warmer days as it draws warm air up from Atlantic / Southern Europe.

  • 28 degrees in our greenhouse with windows and double doors open.  I was thinking of sowing my Jan/Feb/March seeds next week, although I don't imagine that this weather will continue now right through.  Even with perspex lids on the seed trays if necessary I think I will be safe to sow them.
Beautiful weather, sunny and warm with a clear sky, the wind was cold yesterday morning but there wasn't any wind this morning.

It was very foggy and cold early this morning, but warm sunshine later by lunch time.

We had a really thick fog this morning (some people driving without lights though 🙄) but it brightened up for the drive home - the Sun was blinding as low!
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Sunny 10℃ on the west coast of Scotland. Unusual - but most welcome. Forecast looking good for much of the remainder of the month - excited to be able to be in the garden! 😁
