Slightly warmer, blue skies and sunshine, up to 6c by lunchtime. Quite pleasant for a walk - sorry Joyce!

We've got the freezing fog here too. It looks as if it might be thinning a bit now, but I'm not planning on doing anything outside. It somehow seems colder when the sun isn't out, even when the thermometer says the same as it did earlier in the week.

  • Sorry to gloat, but here's our sky in Kent, a few minutes ago.

  • No, it's "mostly sunny".

Our forecast was bright, with sunny spells after an early morning fog. We’ve had freezing fog all day.

The fog didn't clear until it was almost dark, just in time for a new layer of frost to start forming. More fog in the forecast for tomorrow so it'll be another indoor day.
OH went to see a friend in Scunthorpe (about 17 miles as the crow flies) and he said it was bright sunshine there. Sunny Scunny indeed.

Looked out of the window and it seems to have mostly cleared for now, but the frost is still thick. I don’t think I’m too far from you @JennyJ.
