As you can see from the weather radar it's raining here :)

Raining hard and very windy all morning but now the sun's come out and I can see blue sky through the window. Still quite cold though, was only 5.4 at 11.30 am.

Been following on the same web page Pete.8 so thought I put it up for others to follow if they wish. Hope you don't mind.

Ops meant to add it has animation.
  • A dull and rain threatening morning, at around midday the heavens opened and storm Gareth arrived, very, very windy, heavy rain.  Now at 15.12 p.m blue sky and sunshine but still very blustery outside.

After a filthy morning, the sun has come out ! It's a little chillier, but considerably better. My friends at Cheltenham Festival will be pleased !
I see they are having a course inspection at 8am tomorrow to see if racing will go ahead, as they are worried about the strong winds that are forecast.

Same here AnniD. I can see blue sky, although it's still windy it has dropped somewhat.

I always check it before walking the dog or digging the garden :)

How about this one Pete.8 lightningmaps.org if you don't it's useful as you can see how far from you the storm is.

You can do the same with the other one - there's an on/off button for lightning
I love a bit dog walking in wild, windy wet weather - it can feel like we're out on the moors, when we're actually only 5mins from home and the high st :)
