Very strong gusts of wind, scheduled to last until early this afternoon.  Strangely enough, no weather warnings in place. Clear skies and sunshine 8 degrees at 7.40 am. Glos.

Very calm and still but very very wet ... that fine rain that soaks into everything. Glad I got the washing dry yesterday ... looks like we get the winds tomorrow.

It looks lovely out...but it’s extremely windy! Just reading about damage and power cuts across the country. Keep safe everyone.

Just been for a quick run to allotment for a damage check all so far OK at the moment we have constant winds of 60mph and have recorded a gust of 91mph in the last hour.

The sea is up beautiful white horses and they have closed the beach road because of flying stones but we still have idiots walking on the pavement.
