Thick cloud, windy a bit chilly. Had even more rain over night but that's stopped.

Overcast and still, but at least it's not burning hot (yet!).  Forecast hot and muggy on Saturday but short-lived so I'll plan a mostly indoor day.  Got loads done in the garden last weekend while the soil was damp enough to be workable (makes a nice change!)
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

After the muggy heat of yesterday, today started cool cloudy & breezy. Sun has finally broken through now.

  • Dull and overcast - some light rain this morning, although not enough to send us indoors.  Now quite windy, and may get up to get up to force 8 later, around 20 degrees so more comfortable than searing heat other places have, but a little more sunshine here would be nice.  24 degrees in the greenhouse this afternoon.

Very overcast but not as gloomy as yesterday. Bit of a breeze and best described as "cool", even though thermometer reckons it's 19 degrees at 4.30 pm. Glos.

I upgrade the above from ‘breezy’ to ‘very windy’. What’s going on?! Must be the change in weather being blown in.
