    A lovely sunny frosty morning, do the parsnips the world of good, sun just got to the glasshouse, warm it up a little.

    3 degrees...BUT sunny and dry. Blinky blimey...
    Just about to get out in the garden - so got me balaclava, mittens, shorts, Christmas socks and cut down welly shoes.. If I don't come back in three hours, send out the huskies (and don't forget the barrel of brandy)....

    No frost here, in fact the sunniest day we have had for weeks - glorious, warm sunshine, virtually no wind and not a rain cloud to be seen. Hurray!

    A frosty start but the ground wasn't frozen. Now sunny intervals but still cold.

    Very frosty here but got up to 6 deg by 12.30 and sunny.

    Back in and the sun is just dipping behind the Downs - 5 degrees.
    Not a drying day as no wind and the washing still as wet as when I put it out.
