  • Rained all day yesterday. The ground is full with water. I do hope it stops raining and we get sunshine soon.

Light cloud and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 11c feels like 10c
  • It is very windy today and still wet. Grey and very warm.
I thought it was supposed to be dryer today, not much sign of that yet.

The same here Joyce, not impressed.

  • OMG!
We has such a storm last night. It began blowing during the evening, with torrential rain. It didn't stop until the wee small hours. There is a lull now before the next lot comes through later today.
There is a rather uncomfortable stillness and silence outside as if the birds, trees, and plants are holding their breaths whilst quietly recovering from last night's battering.
I doubt if I will be doing any gardening today.

We must have got the storm later @Joyce Goldenlily, it's been hammering down all day and has only just eased off. So dark at 9 am we had to put the lights on for breakfast!

Lovely and sunny here, with a bit of breeze. More washing on the line. No gardening because my back is still complaining after Saturday's stint.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
