    Wind seems to be picking up...

    The wind is increasing here now 50kph 27kn and gusting to 68kph 37kn with the barometer still falling currently 997.0

    Another dry morning so managed to do some gardening. Started raining about 12 and hasn't stopped.

    It's been quite warm and sunny in Dordogne, better than expected.

    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Quite blustery, but the sun has come out and the temperature is 13.5 degrees at 4.30pm. The forecast rain seems to have disappeared, and l did hear that "Freya" has changed course slightly heading further East which may account for it. Glos.

    Rain from first thing this morning. Went to GC there was over a dozen large plants/trees blown over at Belton House GC, so wind did get up. It's getting blowy again tonight.

    Been very blustery all evening. Forecast predicting it should be over soon.

    Everything has calmed down now, quite bright with blueish skies at 7.45am. Temperature around 5 degrees. Glos.
