Woke up to snow settling down to about 1100ft. It seems to be warming up a touch now though with low cloud and mizzle melting the snow at lower levels.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Atrocious. Started OK but has become progressively colder, greyer, wetter and windier with wind speeds building to 130kph this evening. Hibernating day then.

Here it has been raining solidly since 10 a.m., luckily no wind, but cold and dismal.
Rain here in Glos, temp around 5 degrees at 3.30pm, there is talk of sleet later tonight. Low temp of -4 overnight, so could well be tricky in the morning.
Cold start dry but dull all day snow threat for early evening same as last week - hoping not for us this time, many parts avoided it last week but we got the lot!
