Horrid. Wind and rain lashing on the north and west windows all night ... now large flakes of snow too ... but it’s 3C so it’s not settling. Not an outdoor day tho ☔️
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Sun is out at the moment. Keeping an eye on the forecast as we are down for sleet showers tomorrow and the end of the week so hoping this wouldn’t be upgraded to snow.
A perfect day today, good clear skies, sun and although cool this morning the sun has warmed the air nicely - far better than the forecast and that horrid north west wind has gone. Going to be cool and wet for the next few days with some sunshine too.
Lovely, brilliantly sunny with blue skies in the morning 3 deg rising to 8.5 by 1.30pm. Wind had dropped as well. Good gardening weather - with four layers on!
It’s about 3 degrees out there with rain and sleet forecast later, which will likely make for an icy Wednesday morning. Snow due on Thursday. Take care all those with Wintery weather.
