Love the dinner service , do they use the napkin too Glad to hear crumbs are left by others as well. It got me worried they might have bad teeth. But now I see it is probably just the way they eat. Our dish is a little earthenware brown one. The sides are straight but shallow. I think it is meant for hampsters or bunnies, so the sides are not very high, but heavy like yours AnniD and they do sometimes push it around and out of the feeding station, mostly it stays in. I never thought about them possibly blocking the door, so won't get anything bigger.
purplerallim. Sorry I know it has nothing to do with the thread topic but that is a beautiful saucer, all the flowers on the design, (and porcelain a bit posh )
It's a pass me down from family, only one to survive. It used to be my Chihuahua's dinner plate, but we all know how spoilt they are😁. So now the hedgehogs have inherited it.😁
I found two hog's hibernating in the compost bin yesterday.
They are quite lucky really as this was the last load for this bin. I very carefully added shredded paper topped off with three layers of corrugated cardboard then put the lid on so they will be safe until spring, and I will start filling a new bin next week

They should be cosy there for the winter Hampshire Hog. I love the way the cats all sat around in the video looking at the hedgehog with "Are we supposed to do something about this ?" expressions !
We have noticed that our hog has done the same maisie_mac - we just put out half a dozen, halved peanuts mixed in with biscuits, chopped apple and some veg. suet and the nuts go every time.
