That wouldn't make me feel curmudgeonly at all. More like murderous. I hope they catch the culprit(s), lock them up for the maximum and stomp on their toys, altho I suspect it may well be a nerdy type on the autistic spectrum that needs long-term professional help but that's a whole political question about excessive spending and borrowing by one lot leading to the next lot introducing punishing welfare cuts that leave so many people not getting the help they need. Self fulfilling nightmare circle.
My personal moan today is why do they make the transformer part of the plug for fairy lights so fat you can't fit more than 2 on a 4 way extension lead?

Unfortunately those drones are not always the amateur aiming from their bedroom window!! They can’t shoot them down as they don’t know what may be attached to them. They fire them into prisons with drugs as well. Handy little gadgets😀
Agree about the fat plugs, I’ve got a wander lead with about 6 sockets, I can put the lights in every other one.

This morning's grump from me is that the Government have decided to stop paying people with solar panels for the power they export to the grid. I can understand why they are stopping paying the 'feed in tariff' for power generated - solar panels are cheap enough now that the cost to the taxpayer isn't justified. But not paying for the excess generated (i.e. what your panels make that you don't use yourself) just means that the big energy companies get a load of free power. I very much doubt they'll reduce their charges as a result
I'm speaking to more and more people who are just finding ways of diverting that energy to their own use so there is no excess. The move is basically driving people to waste the energy rather than pass it on to the grid for free. No one seems to know what payments will be available after FIT ends though.
In theory though it should make it cheaper again to get a domestic system set up in terms of initial costs. It should also mean that our bills come down but I very much doubt it will.
My wife just had a delivery of flowers from a well meaning relative. They obviously weren't christmassy enough so they'd been liberally sprayed with glitter. The stuff is now all over everything. It doesn't seem to make the floor and walls more christmassy though for some reason. In full curmudgeonly fashion I'm going to email the seller and moan.

Not as bad as getting a delivery of SILK flowers! Humph, humph!! I hate them with a vengeance!! But I will have to conjure up a pretty thank you for them...………..

@raisingirl, well, I've never trusted a tory government in my life. So they want folk to buy panels, then GIVE the surplus electricity to their mates in the energy supply companies so they can SELL it back to us. Crystal clear whose side their on eh?

Glitter is the stuff of nightmares. I received a card today that was covered in the stuff, l could hear it in the envelope, so opened it over the bin. Needless to say l didn't manage to get all the glitter in the bin ! I find it's like pine needles, even though you think you've got rid of it all, little bits are still appearing in July
I had to go to the supermarket to get booze for when the inlaws come for xmas. It's for them, I'm not implying I can't face them sober. Well maybe a bit... I was expecting queues and chaos but it was full of mostly happy people and there was a brass band playing. I even picked up some very cheap xmas decorations which in fairness were tacky rubbish but came in a glass terrarium for £1. Sprig of scot's pine with larch cones stuck to it and a bit of plywood with Noel written on it? I can see someone spent a lot of time designing that one. The glass bit will be very useful though.

Fairy lights! Buy a string that says it's 6m long but only half of it has lights on! Had to use 2 to get the effect I need. Humph!
