    Morning.
Sorry to hear your news Pansy and Hazel. Thoughts are with you both.
Lants - good luck with the deliveries - at least you’ll get all the chaos over with at once.
Chey - how about a wander round the glasshouses in Buxton Park followed by a Costa? I’d also direct you to my favourite 2nd hand book shop - but I always spend £££’s in there so maybe not the best plan🤭
More relaxing sort of day for us today. Not sure what we’re doing but I’d best get out of bed first....

    Morning all.
PF and Hazel, sorry to hear your news. Thoughts are with you.x
M-U, has your OH got the paint and brush out yet? No food for him until the ceiling is finished.
Better go and fill three bird feeders as birds are sitting on the fence waiting.

Well I have got up - but not out yet. Think we’re just going to wander down to the village for a bowl of soup in the pub and a wander round. In a bit....

Love Barter Books MU - that’s my 2nd favourite. Only doesn’t make it into 1st place because the books are a bit more expensive than Buxton. Love the honesty box coffees by the fire.

Buxton is also more like the sort of bookshop you see on jigsaws - lots of different rooms over several floors and the filing is a little random in places. Lovely owner. Last time I was there I bought several books about architecture & churches - also an interest of the owner. He’d written a small book about Bakewell? church and gave me a free copy and a lovely smile.😊

Where’s LB this morning? Trouble with VM again?

Ah - that’s it Joyce! Wasn’t it the Christmas do as well. She’s probably sleeping it off😉🤭 (Don’t judge others by your own standards TB!)

Good luck with the packing Hazel.

Haven’t been to Holmfirth for a few years MU - lovely big village / small town.
Not too sure where we’d park a car with a caravan on the back though 🤪

What a good idea Lants, I have often thought that is the way to go . We have a small sitting room ,the space would be useful.

Speaking of cats MU . Did you know that we now have a cat cafe in Leeds . It is so busy its bookings only.

Ruby.  Is that a cafe only for pussy cats?  Or can you take your cat?  Or do you have to wear a cat suit?

A lot colder out than you would think.  Been leading the local weekly walk around the fields and it was quite muddy.  Not many of us today, so I think they were out Christmas shopping.  That reminds me, I still haven't started yet........
