Back  from hospital .Good news ,OH has to have iron tablets for three months then see the specialist in twelve months. They can’t find anything sinister . But if he is still low in iron they will give a capsule camera to see more of the area .
Had a haircut in Leeds . Lots of M@S mince pies were purchased.

Good on yer Fedge 👍 sounds like yours was a right fiddly fit. I wish I'd saved myself £25 and done it all myself now, getting it level was the main reason we forked out for fitting.
Staying in post-op is probably best Hazel.

Hazel I hope your daughter makes a good recovery after the gallbladder op although she will need to rest for a while.  It will be a relief for her to be out of pain.  Problems with the vac today, put the dry filters back, censored the brush bar but light still going red after a very short time vacuuming.  These things were sent to baffle us.  Another wet cool day.  Rubes arrived back from town with a new stylish haircut after her outing together with m&s mince pies.  I stayed in with Alfie and Ed and gave them their treats.  Will have to get their food in bulk in a few days and keep them topped up.

RB, oh yes! brown eyes was there for me :)
Ruby, the iron pills will give your OH a boost.
Pansy, were you showing little cat how easy it was to swallow a pill without making a fuss!
Daughter, NHS consultant, eventually paid to have an  op. It had been cancelled twice after she had rearranged her clinics to fit it in.

Chey, like your heron pic.  They're quite common here because of the river at the back.

Oh my Chey. Lovely to see a heron - not so good if you have a fish pond though.
Ruby , that is marvellous news about your OH. Like getting an early prezzie! So pleased for you both. I'll bet those mince pies won't last very long - especially as Rebecca has 'spotted' them.
I hope that SGL and her OH have not had too harrowing a day today.

    Too late I think!

I didn't even realise there were fish in the river, it's not deep at all!

There are fish who will live happily in fairly shallow rivers but herons will also eat frogs.

PF - get over there and take your heron home. Those high winds must have blown him off course.

Good news for OH Ruby 👍, hope the iron tablets do the trick with no side effects (they gave me constipation).
Good luck to Pansy with Little Cat's pills. Did it taste nice? 😉😆

Rebecca, is that your new vac giving you bother? My brush bar gets so clogged up with hair that I cut it off with scissors 😳✂.
All good at the dentists Joyce? 👀😊
Runny 😂. Dare I admit that she also got a full set of the small toys too. Kev, Katie, the three kids and the evil parsnip. Flippin barm pots, the pair of em 😣
