"New" not disappearing after reading thread

Don't know if anyone else has this problem but after reading a thread, which could have had "2new" alongside, it still remains and I have to come out of the forum and in again to delete it. It's quite confusing as I can't tell which threads I have read or whether there have been new posts I haven't read.

Yes the ‘new’ thing isn’t going away for me either, the site is somehow not registering that you have read a thread...

Using MacBook Air. What are you using @Nollie?

An IPad, Fran. I have just installed the latest update, maybe that’s it rather than the GW site?

It remains if I press 'back' after reading a thread but goes if I click a new link. Might be a cache issue.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
