Well Joyce, it has just started heaving it down here. I'm glad I got the cloth things off the string outside. I think I had a premonition.

It’s sheeting down here . The rain is hammering on the windows and a wind is getting up.

Brrrr I feel cold just reading that Ruby. The rain is hammering here too. I like being warm inside watching the drops running down the windows.

Evening all. I don't get much time to post now I'm back at work full time. I realised this morning that this time tomorrow was the final day of my treatment. .....doesn't time fly.
All you lot talking about the cold reminded me,  OH and me bought new dressing gowns last weekend,  £20 for his and  £40  for mine. I never thought I would pay that much for one, but haven't had to put the heating on since.  I get home from work,  into the shower and on with my nightie and dressing gown and am as warm as toast.  Best  £40  I ever spent.

It is Rubee, very soft and fluffy, but can be machine washed and tumble dried. OH says I look like a beaver in it.

    Evening all,

Mr. M doing the whole man flu thing. He went to bed an hour ago. Supposed to have been out at a carol sing. They only come round once a year. Heigh ho. Next year maybe....

Good to hear that you are toasty, Pauline. How’s the work going? Still got to listen to the chatterbox?

Hope he's feeling better in the morning,  man flu can be a serious thing...........so my OH  tells me😆
