Help - our new neighbour has wrecked our shared hedge

  • It would be nice if the thread did get back on course.  Seeing as 'not talking about it' seems to mean whining on about it for the next two days.

And, Paul, your comment about razor wire only further demonstrates what kind of person you are.  No doubt you will claim it as a joke.  Your sort always do.

And that's my last comment on the whole subject.  I'm sick of it.

I have no debts nor mortgage , no credit cards owing ; everything we own has been bought and paid for in cash (including the car)  ;).

Then, through working, you have already acquired more wealth and financial stability than your neighbours have (or probably ever will). You also have the satisfaction of knowing that you did that, all off your own back.

I find it very interesting that the majority of people I speak to tend to single out those far worse off than them rather than those, much better off, that have defrauded the system and so have syphoned far more money from the system. This seems to be the line promulgated by various newspaper among others. An easy target ? I would much rather part of my taxes go to feed people than to let them starve or to push them into crime or the shadow economy.

Didn't the UN recently criticise the UK, in a report, over the UK's food banks ? If it is only those on benefit using the food banks then surely they can't be getting that much money can they ?

    LOL :D

I'm not speaking to you personally @Paul B3. I'm sure you realise that.

I've seen you make some great posts on this forum - some that have helped my garden - and I'm grateful for that.

I only came to the forum looking for advice on my potted fushia :)

Thankyou for your comment ; much appreciated !
It's strange how some people take offence on here , and feel personally insulted .
Maybe they lead a sheltered life , or perhaps they just stay in a lot ! :)

Goodness me! There was a time when I let my garden overgrow. I felt watched by my neighbour, but we both love our gardens and just do our thing and got over it.

Benefits have been abused, but this is a gardening forum and sometimes I feel we should just keep it like that. There are so many political forums where posters can get angry. Why this one?
