When I first saw the "British" bananas, I too thought it must be climate related. I then saw Helen's skepticism and started to think, perhaps some... "patriot" was involved.
I remained intrigued, so I researched the subject on google. However, it would seem that bananas are not grown commercially in Britain.
Perhaps they're a gift from that Britain-loving Trump, thus axiomatically British!
