Just watching the news and the tragic COVID situation in India.  Sadly, I remember 2 Indian scientists in the uk, during our second lockdown, on 2 different occasions, one man and the other a woman, both professors of something, shoutily insisting that only the old need to be isolated but the "young must be free to go about their business."  One of them added, "India has a very large population of young people, it would be crazy to stop them from getting on with their lives."

I felt rather certain that would be a disaster; so terribly sad that I wasn't wrong.  :'(

Throughout the year there were so many scientists on tv spouting their own theories and, consequently, confusing people.

I remember one who also thought lockdowns were a crazy idea.  I never bothered memorizing his name but I distinctly recall he looked in his 60s, always appeared in a grey jacket and as he spoke, he constantly twitched his shoulders.

And of course, there's Bojo who apparently said

he would rather see ‘bodies piled high’ than third Covid lockdown

Let's hope vaccination will really save us.

I'll do the same and then have some fun!

Apparently, Bojo is going to have the final say as to whether he's been honest about payments for the "stunning" refurbishment of the Downing St flat, despite what the Electoral Commission Inquiry in to "cash for curtains" might actually find!

I wonder if he will then publicise it on the Tory "Factcheck" website, unless it no longer exists, of course.  However, plenty more red buses around.....

    Sadly, yes!

No 10 admitted the Prime Minister will retain the power to clear himself of any possible breach of the ministerial code exposed by the probe.

His spokesman, asked if he could reject any findings against himself, said: “The Prime Minister will remain the ultimate arbiter of this, yep.”
