The NHS seems to be doing an amazing job with the vaccines. I truly hope some normality will follow soon.
Yesterday, I witnessed a scene that almost broke my heart. I was in my front garden, getting my recycling bins ready for today. Suddenly, I heard the voice of a child, repeatedly calling loudly, "Hello grandma!" I looked up to see a lady, whom I have seen before, walking past without responding to the call, obviously not the "grandma".
About half a minute later, a little girl, probably about 3 years old, appeared, hastening towards the lady ahead, still calling, "Hello grandma", whilst her mother was gently restraining her. "That's not grandma, darling!"
I imagine the child had not seen her grandmother "in the flesh" for such a long time that she couldn't remember what she really looked like.

I had my Pfizer this morning. I now have a splitting headache!
I had mine yesterday-also Pfizer. Feeling grotty: unbelievable headache, cold, runny nose and the rest of it. Living on 4hourly paracetamol; hope my liver doesn't respond violently!
Feeling a lot better today. Things are looking up.
When I ordered my shopping online yesterday, I added some kitchen rolls. As I was feeling in need of some "fun", I chose the decorated sort! (I only did that sort of thing at Christmas, when my children were young!) My shopping arrived a few minutes ago; the decorated paper has pride of place in my kitchen!

Covid ...
I have a dream that my.. children.. one day.. will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character
Martin Luther KingArtemis, how truly upsetting!
Glad to know you're feeling better, Danae.
The caring party...
I just wonder how many of them actually voted LEAVE....
Who knows? I should imagine, not a few.
