Caravaggio was an amazing artist though eh? The way he captured the contrast of dark and light reminds me so much of Tracey Emin's work.....
Yes, his use of light is legendary but, I have always found his realism intense and unsettling. I also find the visage of "the adviser" equally disturbing. As for Ms Emin, I believe even the Tate (Britain) exhibited that bed....It must mean something!
I'm sure he knows that, in April, the Swiss Supreme Court dismissed the result of their referendum because the people had not been given all the information necessary.
And I don't think they had been fed one hundredth of the lies the brexiters fed us here.
If you haven't caught any of it yet - and you like well acted, simple, gentle humour - take a look at State of The Union. Ten, ten minute episodes. Brings a smile to your face - while at the same time gets you to empathise with the protagonists.....
While in that vein - There She Goes - is also worth a watch. Another pathos driven 'comedy'. It even got me to dislike David Tennant (well, his character anyway). Both on BBC iPlayer.
