What is this hedging called?

Can anyone name the two hedging plants, orange and red, shown is this photo please?

    They can have some vicious thorns so be warned but great as security hedging and the birds seem to leave the berry's nearly to last on the menu around here.

    That photo was taken near where my daughter lives. Mine will be planted amongst hawthorn to add a bit of colour not against a brick wall I hasten to add!

    Cut a few of these in my time thorns are evil even with 2 pairs of gloves on 😈👍

    Yes VERY evil thorns, I am practically wearing body armour and still getting torn to shreds slowly working my way through pruning a large overgrown hedge. I got spiked just above my face visor and had to dig in with sharp tweezers to get it out. Lovely winter berries though!

    I must have tough skin - I don't find them too bad to prune and trim  :D
    Brilliant plants - for lots of reasons.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I had one on my previous house, growing between and around the windows.
    I never pruned it, just wove the new, flexible stems in amongst the old and it made a  beautiful frame. The thorns are slightly less vicious on young growth!
    Would have done the same here, but our front wall faces north and gets no sun at all and the one plant I tried in the open garden never set a berry!
