    The lamium was so beautiful Papi.  Lovely variagation, dainty pink flowers.  It seems to be like catnip to the gastropods though.  I have repotted them so hopefully they will bounce back and I can find a suitable place for them.

    @Lyn The photo is a bit deceptive.  The hydrangea has a bit of space of to expand.  It's actually part of a much larger, old shrub which I transplanted last year.

    I like the look of Cerastium @B3 That spot gets about 3 hours morning sun and a few more in the evening.  I wonder if that would be sufficient?

    I don't really know, @1634 Racine.
    It's worth a try. They're not expensive and you could always move it if it's not happy. The roots are quite shallow.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Plain green Hakonechloa, its wonderful.
