Ha ha, I thought of MrSASMcSP too when watching last night's episode, but not for the same reason. There was a LOT of dogginess and I could hear the groans from here, @Hostafan1 ;)

That Italian chap was an absolute delight though, wasn't he?

    Morning everyone :)

Wasn't there just? Even Hubby asked if it had become a pet show.

Wow you’ve been busy Hosta .....no wonder you slept well 😴.  Whats the planting plan for that beautiful canvas 👨🏼‍🎨🎨 ?

Plans are to keep all the "hot" colours by the terrace/pond and have the paler colours and the blues and Hostas (obviously ) in the new beds.
I have lots of grasses which need splitting too to add to the mix.

Hi all. Late on parade for me.
Glad you like your title Hosta. Should we maybe promote you to 'Sir' after your recent renovations to the garden - it's looking very grand. How is the Rock these days?
Not seen G'sW yet. I've always said that about the 'gravel at bottom of pot' thing. It's never made sense to me, because that's what you do in a garden with a low point - you make a sump...and what's the sump made of? I remember my Dad doing exactly that in the front garden. The water always collected at one corner, so he dug out a hole about four feet deep and filled it with gravel. The grass and the other borders were fine afterwards.
There's a lovely garden visit on Beechgrove for those who watch on a Sunday.
Hope flumpy got away on her plane....
BL - you're so busy I feel exhausted just reading everything you do. Hope you get the t'interweb up and running quickly.
Supposed to be nice here today, but it's just all mizzly and overcast. I'd hoped to get more hacking and slashing, and even grass cutting, done. The washing isn't likely to dry either. Hmmm. Maybe it'll brighten up a bit.
Either the hogs have got Delhi belly, or they've been partying, judging by the amount of 'detritus' on the  path  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Afternoon everybody.
Oh -I would love a fresh new border to plant-up.
Just returned Dad back home. I think he would have happily stayed here at bit longer if I had Sky Sports on offer 😂
Going to watch GW now with some warm pasties...they may be a nana-nap too.
    Be good everyone.

Drizzled all morning so decided to have a cooking day to stock up the freezer.  Sun came out after lunch but too busy to leave the kitchen for the garden.

That border should be lovely when planted up Hosta.

Nuthatches are back again this year....up at the back door looking for the mix I put out for them in the winter. Sunflower hearts will need to do them just now.

Afternoon all. No rain here, grr.
Really fed up watering stuff now. Usually the water table is high enough that the tunnels don't need watering very often, but they're both bone dry.
I'm obviously a wee bit "out of the loop" .... Where's Flumpy going on hols?

    Devon.

Hi folks, had a lovely afternoon with Jonah and Gabriel.  Have come home and had to turn the heating on for the first time as it's turned chillly.  Looking at starting a new quilt for Gabriel, have a pattern but need to wait until Secondborn is a bit more mobile so that we can go out and choose the fabrics.  Until then I'll have to made do with the cross stitch I still haven't finished from last winter.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
