Round trip to B’ham today ....now cream crackered.  But littlest chicklet is happily settled in her new room.  Will miss her muchly.

Nottingham tomorrow- but Mr C driving this time, so an easier day for me.

Saw Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker twice - amazing. Enjoy Swan Lake Hosta - tears will be shed 😢.  When work gets too noisy (as it does frequently at the moment) I retreat into iPod world ....Swan Lake from start to finish is my favourite indulgence.

Chose a football enthusiast here ..... he turned out pretty good 😜
  • Snuggling down to listen to Paul Jambikini on Counterpoint. Love that programme.
    Sweet dreams everyone  :)

  • Very late evening all! Busy day at work, came home to a surprise visit from an old friend, we all had a slap up fry up for dinner and chatted the night away, just watching Monty with the cats before bed now 😊
Hello Lirio 😊 what a nightmare journey trying to get to see your mother! Very frustrating but unfortunately fairly typical experience of public transport! I hope you have a lovely break in Ireland!
Pp love the police version of scrote, seems to describe a similar type!
Pdoc, I sympathise with your neighbour, I've had three years of inconsiderate neighbors that although nice people, just don't think about how much noise they make! I'm having to learn anger management techniques!
Fairy, glad to hear your hedgehog family are still keeping well! Mine are still on the late night slug hunt as well as eating plenty of cat biscuits!
Time to crawl off to bed, night all 😊

I’m watching the Hairy Bikers in Corsica. Wow, what tempting food.

Hello Dove. Yes, me too. Also I was reminded just how many herbs that I grow are from the Mediterranean area. I tend to forget every now and then.
Sunny day here. No rain still.
I hope you all aren’t getting flooded out.

    Morning all .
Coal face duties and it's absolutely chucking it down. ( good for the lake )
I watched GW last night and rather enjoyed it.
I share @punkdoc's salvia envy but raise him serious Colocasia envy. That London gardenn was divine. A masterclass on making a small garden look big.
    Devon.
  • We’ve not had much rain so far Pat ... it’s been heavy further north tho’.
Apparently we’re getting rain today but don’t think it’s going to be as much as Punkdoc has had.
Were driving down to suffolk today to visit my son and his business partners in their new premises ... I’m taking a courgette cake to celebrate  :)
