"Toxic" plants are only toxic if ingested. Some, I repeat SOME folk have allergic reactions to some, repeat SOME plants. Rhubarb leaves are toxic , but many us have survived the dangers of growing them. Caution is good, but please don't worry too much.
I think the problem you may find is that unless the fish are buried quite deeply, foxes may well try and dig them out. When I loose one of my tropical fish, I lay it to rest at the back of a hedge otherwise my dog would eat it

I think you want a hotbox composter for the fish corpses, this can be used to maintain temperature as Winter sets in for plants sitting on top of the composter.
They are perhaps larger than you’re thinking and should be outside, but it will bring green to your outside area.
Who eats it off the hedge then Pete? This has got to be the funniest hoax post I’ve heard in ages😀
I don't know where they go, but I assume they go as I can't get behind the hedge, and I can't see them piling up.
I do know that over the 30yrs my 5ft fish tank has been in situ in the lounge, there are several eels that have slithered out over the years never to be seen again. One was a fire eel about 2ft long The tank will finally be moved sometime in the next 12 months and I'm not looking forward to discovering what is behind it....

Some photos here It was a beautiful fish and would take frozen bloodworm from my fingers. But it caused a lot of disruption when it buried into the gravel and was costing a lot n frozen bloodworm!

Without acknowledging the fish now, does anyone know any small, beginner outdoor non toxic plants since our garden is quite empty.
