Good advice. It still drives straight so I'm hoping no harm was done but I'll keep an eye on it.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

They do drive straight - or seem to.  We recently had to have a full set of new tyres far earlier than expected on our older car because tracking and "géométrie" are not standard when changing tyres so Sally wore all her tyres out unevenly but never a murmur when driving.  Expensive.

If you have a straight quiet road with no traffic nearby, you can take your hands off the steering wheel for a couple so seconds and see if the car continues in a straight line.

Considering who his brother is, is he being a curmudgeon?

No.  This one is quiet and reasonable - not that that's difficult in comparison to BoJo.

Perhaps, but the cynic in me thinks that the object of the exercise might well be to, finally, remove TM and, thus, clear his brother's way to the "throne" as soon as possible?

No.  He's not that cynical and BoJo is not PM material.  Offended too many of his colleagues too.

I've said it before , and I'm afraid I've not changed my opinion.

The trouble is that you could spend hours agonising and researching who to vote for and, even then, your vote has no more value than that of  the person who doesn't even know which end of the pencil to use.

  • Very true, B3... though probably better for the conscience to agonise and research than to assign your vote randomly... maybe, just maybe, if enough of us care, things will change??  I know, I'm an incurable optimist.
