Is it ok to plant fruit trees and cover them with gravel?

  • B&Q had some rectangular  raised bed kits in. Basically  6 struts,2 long pieces and 2 short pieces plus necessary screws. Depends on your DIY level. Definitely  use some sort of tub,container, raised bed rather then plant them through gravel. You could try woodland strawberries  too but they do spread x

    A big, long mirror is a great idea. Create an optical illusion.

    UV markers and stickers work well too - invisible to us, glaring to birds.

    @pansyface mentioned a while ago - one idea I've seen work very well is to mount a stylish garden gate or door on the wall.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Thank you. I'm afraid that place is now taken by the hungry Hydrangeas which keep growing at a really fast speed.
