  • And this is the final result!
From left: Dwarf Victoria Plum Tree, Green Gooseberry, Red Gooseberry
From right: Red, Black, White Currant
Fingers crossed they will have fruits next year  :)

Could you put a seat and arbour near the end? Water feature?

Er, next year might be pushing it a bit, but certainly in years to come....😊

There’s something slightly surrealistic about that path leading to the brick wall.  Looks good though.
Thanks. I know but I just wanted to give it a try anyway and see what happens ;) I know I will have to start trimming those trees and bushes soon.

It would have to be very narrow seat, I think the width at the end is about 1m only. Water feature would look nice but would require some work to bring the pipes so maybe I'll just plant some bushes there or something, not sure yet what... hmm

... but a third of the way from the back might be ok, no? You don't need much room for a water feature. It would make more sense of the path. A bench with some climbers going up the wall behind?

Let me have a think about it. Thanks for the tip ;) I'll be back with the updates later
  • A nice birdbath would look good and attract birds that that will help deal with potential aphids on your fruit trees.  No need for any pipe work ... just top it up with a jug in the morning  :)

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Yes, they look nice, thanks for the idea :)
  • Or a stone sculpture / ornament . I have a dragon in my garden, I am into mythical creatures. 😁

  • It's a pity that so many birds are hurt and killed by crashing into garden mirrors because a big mirror would look fab there. It would widen it out in the distance and the path would lead into it.
