I've been looking into alternatives to grass for my small lawn. One of the suggestions I've read is to use 'mind your own business '. Not sure now I've seen your pics @davemorley85. Anyone thinks that's a sensible idea? Anyone have any suggestions?
It can look amazing in dark damp places where nothing else other than ferns will grow ... spilling out from the bottom of walls and creeping between paving stones ... anywhere else it’s usually a right PITA 😕

Seriously tho, dave, do look up how to eradicate it properly, strimming might just spread the stuff everywhere you don’t want, and as already pointed out by Pete8, that would hinder using a systemic weed killer like Glyphosate if you want to go the chemical route.

Jules, you might want to have a look at a chamomile lawn.
Given climate change I am tempted to try a drought-tolerant thyme lawn, but my overarching aim is to have slug-controlling lizards and I think lizards prefer long grass.
