    They have a small diamond tool sharpener coming to Lidl's on the 19th @ £1.99 each I will be buying a few to top up what I already have.

    Am I the only person who never sharpens my secateurs? :(

    Well hostas are nice and soft...  
    Do you sharpen your spades?
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Well I think you should give it a try then, you might be amazed at the difference it makes- especially to secateurs.

    It might explain why I have a grip like a vice, and tennis elbow?

    I have the blades on my mower sharpened, and the chain on my chain saw done too.
