I'd happily have that shade of pink in my garden.
Throw it together with some deep golden yellows, like rudbeckia deamii  and some deep blood red dahlias like Nuit d été

PP. I love that pink and have some Phlox that colour myself. They look fab with some very dark purple Dahlias.

It is a good pink to have with hot colours but not with pastels.

Candy pink anything. The usual hanging baskets, begonias, bedding in general. Colourwise I like the hot pinks and the pale baby pinks (not together) but that in the middle candy pink I find horrible. I'm a blue and purple fan.

I don't find pink naff. I just would rather not have any.

Blues and purples look good in Belgian light but the hotter pinks look great in this light and I'm learning they look better clashing with strong colours.   Who knows?  I may even embrace orange one day!

I learnt so much about colour from reading the books of Christo Lloyd. He had a wonderful eye.
