A smaller leaved sarcococca confusa would be nice too. Very slow growing, can be lightly pruned, but has a lovely, soft and draping habitat. Very glossy, dark green leaves. Amazingly scented flowers in the depth of winter that you'll be able to smell by the door, followed by dark berries. Mine was in a pot for years and was very happy. I fed regularly with Vitax Q4 and made sure the compost didn't dry out much by underplanting with some hardy geraniums and ophiopogon nigrescens.
