I agree that continuity errors aren't the fault of any of the presenters. They just show a lack of interest on the part of the production team. The change from a bowl of very soapy water to crystal clear was simply so glaring it's no surprise people commented on it.
I frequently see anomalies in huge budget programmes and films ... breeds of farm animals and poultry that just didn't exist at the time of Jane Austen or Poldark or whatever, let alone the wrong breeds of animal in the wrong county/country not to mention the wrong sort of harness being used for the period etc etc etc. It irritates the heck out of me, but does the rest of the world care? Only the few who, like me, know about such things ... and in the big scheme of things does it matter? Of course not .... frothy/not frothy water .... really? Listen to yourselves folks ....
Thank goodness there's nothing really bad going on in the world to complain about
As stonemasons we’re always on the lookout for headstones in the churchyards of the period dramas, and the types of lettering.
As Dove says, a round bale really does spoil a good Jane Austin or Thomas Hardy. Does it matter, of course not, they are acting for us and we appreciate them , especially that gorgeous Poldark fella😛😍
As for Monty, does anyone believe he’s growing his runner beans in toilet roll middles or faffing about with little coir modules, that’s all for the camera, he’s probably told to tuck in the little ‘green’ bit, save as conserving water.

I seem to remember a story of you encountering him while he was filming at a flower show and you finding him insufferable. Maybe I'm mixing up the stories. Apologies if I have.
It's one thing to get aerated about historical inaccuracies in fictional dramas Dove but, as I've said before, I expect accuracy in a factual programme which people use as a source of supposedly reliable info to inform their own gardening activities. Apart from anything else if I were to use grey water for plants it'd go on the pots by the door, not be carried half way round the garden.
