    I used to look forward to the programme, but now I forget to watch it.  Is there still a lot of dogs, wheelbarrow pushing and winsome gurning to camera?

    ... yes. Hosta, everyone knows you really don't like him, personally or professionally. Can't we agree that you have put your cards on the table? It all gets a bit "gangs in the playground" otherwise, in my view.

    I don't know him " personally or professionally". I have nothing against him "personally"
      I get irritated by mistakes in life generally.

    Fire - I too have a washing up bowl but use it for washing veg or soaking dishes that I've baked a bit too much but otherwise neer wash by hand.  Dishwashers far more effective and economical on energy and detergents.

    Am with PF on soapy stuff and micro-organisms and other teeny critters.   Just plain water for my plants and soil whether from water butts or a metered tap.

    I agree that continuity problems are an issue, but they are not due to Monty, although some people here will undoubtedly blame him for it, and BREXIT, and probably Donald Trump too.

    Definitely a production team problem from research and checking facts to continuity but I do think a lot of the mistakes happen because Monty is happy to go along with it all.  All very well to be an affable chap but it's his reputation on the line as front man.
