And Jeff Buckleys Hallelujah is awesome, in my opinion songs should be sung by the appropriate age and sex of the singer, some songs are written for young girls to sing and some for older men and every permutation in between but if a young girl sings a song written for an old man to sing it grates on me and vice versa. Just my opinion I am sure others won't agree.
Colin Firth singing 'Our Last Summer' was better (and no, it's not good). I did actually really like Amanda Seyfried's 'Thank you for the Music' better than the original but I think that's to do with the simple piano accompaniment rather than her voice.
