My sweet peas smell amazing on the plant and in the vase too, the reason I love them. What variety do you have Fire?

I lost so many to slugs as seedlings that I lost track. I planted lots of different types and mixes. None smell.

They might be slightly shaded, or started later than usual. You don't say, but I am sure they will come soon peteontheweb, as you say you have foliage.

I started many of mine in the Autumn and they flowered first, but the March sowings have also been flowering well. When I came home yesterday the scent from the picked bunches had reached the front porch and the whole house smells lovely. I think you have just been unlucky this time Fire.

They might come on later in the summer.
