We’ve just had Astro installed today. Two sheets have been joined and we have an obvious line, it severity changes depending where you stand.I’ve been told this will dissapear after a period of time. Does anyone have any knowledge around this...

Think you need a DIY/home improvement type forum.
We are mainly gardeners with little or no experience of artificial turf.
Hope you find the help you're looking for.  :)

Maybe add some plastic flowers to disguise it?

  • Ha ha! I’m guessing Astro is frowned upon and I’ve open myself up for this!

@Jjfellowes, Most of us are gardeners. Plastic doesn't really " do it " for most of us.
    It's your garden, your choice.

Sometimes it fulfils a need ... probably not for people who enjoy gardening tho'  ;)

Wait and see if it disappears. If not surely you have a warranty or something from the suppliers/fitters? I'm going to assume you have a genuine need for artificial grass before getting judgemental but I really hate the stuff.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I hope you know, you'll eventually get weeds on the astroturf, and if a mole comes along underneath, you'll have a very bumpy ( plastic ) lawn.
Is there anything we can do to convince you to have a real garden? Please say yes. :dizzy:

Oh well, at least you don't have to worry about watering it during this long dry period.
