Here (I hope) is an easy id

When I moved the Agapanthus, and planted Alliums, I moved this too. As an inherited plant don't know it's name. It dies back to the ground and grows this big each year. Could you knowledgeable people out there name it for me? Much thanks in advance.😁

    I think that's an aconitum.

    Definitely not a delphinium. Just about to look up the other.😁well Dove you get the star as I was looking up one and found that it's an Acontium Napellus or Aconite! 😁

    I thought delphinium but Valerie might be right with aconitum. Not so easy after all!
  • Acontiums are very poisonous. Every part of it.

    Thank you Purpleallim, I can see the difference in the leaves now  :'(  not going to make that mistake again! Who am I kidding........

    Actually grew some annuals from seed this year which have no culinary purpose, I say yay for this lovely forum.
