  In recent years I've mostly used shower gel, but I've now gone back to soap to reduce my consumption of single-use plastic.  Likewise scattering pencils around the house so as to use fewer plastic biros.

  I think it's like asbestos. As long as you don't disturb them, they're fine. It's when you try to tidy up the trouble starts

  I see the Bestival Festival ( ) has been cancelled due to the weather. That's the trouble with this country, it's either too hot/dry/wet/windy.

  I was looking at the price of train tickets from London to York. We could get an all-inclusive holiday in Costa Chav for less than that!
