This has got to be the hottest day so far! I’ve melted, not going out anymore till tonight.

30° here according to the Beeb. I suspect hotter. And 33° forecast for tomorrow. It's fine as long as I don't 1. Go outside, or 2. Move. At all.

It's been 31C here today ... 28C at the moment ......... it's impossible to do anything much ... just waiting for it all to be over.  I've never been good in heat ... don't mind warm, but can't do hot

Not today he wasn’t, he can see my house from his, don’t think there was that much difference.
its still as bad, can’t get a through draught even.
I’m not good in heat either Dove.
Usually the wind comes off the moor however still it is elsewhere,  we are forecast rain for Friday, Saturday and Sunday still, so let’s hope. 🙏🏻

Just spoke to son ... he's in London preparing the set for a big performance in August ... he said two scaffolders have been taken to hospital and two other workers are being treated for heat exhaustion.  I told him to make sure he keeps hydrated ... he said at well as water they are being given Dioralyte by the site medical people.   :o

Seriously @Lyn, it's not been "hot" here at all. Nothing like it was a couple of weeks ago. I've been on the mower this afternoon cutting the grass around the lake.
We did manage a bit on the sun loungers beforehand, Just to let them know they're loved.

A short while ago I remembered that we've got a weather station. The sensor part doesn't work, but the base station does, so I put it outside. It wasn't in sun, as it had clouded over for a while. At 5.30pm it registered 32 degrees! 26 indoors, now (7.20pm) in a north facing room that never gets any direct sunlight at all. And hotter tomorrow. I might swoon.

    Doh!
My lawn is mostly weeds and moss so I've killed them and now there's only a few blades of grass.

My plastic grass doesn't look real

I post on here so that I don't say anything unhelpful elsewhere.
