Which plant in *your* garden do bees best like?

    Parsley plants left to flower, the flowers are only just beginning but the bees seem to be buzzing around very impatiently.

    This year they mostly went after my ornamental kale (after bolting to flowers) and my verbena.

    My erysimum Bowles Mauve. Flowers on it EVERY day of the year. Covered in bees.

    It’s Lavender all day here. Bowles Mauve, Abelia and Aliums are popular too.

    Garden seem to be alive with bees, insects and butterflies today.  Echinops is popular

    Agastache rugosa (Korean mint) is the current favourite.  One appeared by chance in my veg plot so I collected and raised seeds then planted several in a flower bed this spring:

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    I sat for a long time yesterday fascinated by hundreds of bees foraging on fennel at Scotney Castle.  Seemed to be a very specific type who enjoyed it though.  Almost like hover flies but with a tiger striped bum
