Does anyone recognise this rose? It is salmon colour and flowers profusely for months.

    Yes scented and healthy. They are gorgeous and passersby never fail to comment. I have five standards and would love to have a sixth to complete the set. But bought them at least 15 or more years ago and have lost the name of the rose and have never seen it in garden centres since. Thinking of propogating, but will take many years to become a standard and would love to try finding a specimen size.

    I don't know what it's called but it's gorgeous. If you were in the Midlands I'll be round like a shot for a cutting!  :D:D

    This rose is at my house in Hampstead Garden Suburb (London). They really are gorgeous and I love them. They are a show year after year.

    We are always told to plant in odd numbers so maybe you would consider reducing to 3?
    I can collect anytime that suits you!
    Don't they graft standards onto a root stock?

    I don't know, but you've caused me to want to know more and will do some research on standards. Maybe there is a way I can propogate after all. Thanks K67!

    It looks a bit like Souper Trouper but that hasn't been around for as long as 15 years.

    Jemula, I have googled Souper Trouper and it does indeed look very much like it. However, I read that Souper Trouper was introduced in 2009 and I moved these roses in 2008 from my previous house and they were in the previous garden at least three years or longer. Thanks for the reference as I think I must try Souper Trouper. Orange has never bee a favourite colour of mine and I've generally tended towards various shades of pink for roses, but this colour is outstanding if there is brickwork as a backdrop. It is not at all garish as I would have thought before experimenting and is a lovely warm and softening colour for the reddish bricks and tiles. Thanks for your input.

    Could it be 'Superstar'?

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Yes, 'Super Star' was my idea of it too, it's noted for blooming very much at the top of the plant..
