  • Curiouser and curiouser!! Well I would call it woody (like Hydrangea stems) Evergreen Pretty sure it had flowers towards the end of July (but not 100%) No, they were just little yellow clusters in centre No berries or pods Oh dear no, that label was off my Escallonia No sap when I eased the leaf off

    Thank you June.
He he ....Escallonia label. Had to ask!
No white sap....that rules out Euphorbia.

    Woody...so a shrub.
    Evergreen.
    I am stumped.
I hope someone can put me out of misery with an id.
    I'll keep thinking/looking.

Meanwhile if the flowers change/develop please up date this thread with new pics.

Just bumping this to the top.
Thank you for new very clear pics...it looks wonderful.
    I am stumped.
I have tried ...but with no luck.
I have been known to id plants 2 years after they were posted.
Trouble is  I may never be able to find the original thread again.
Hopefully someone may recognise the flowers.

junesaranne Where did you rescue it from?

I wonder if anyone clever in the GW office can put us out of our misery?

They managed to ID something a few weeks ago that had stumped us .....
