Hit and miss, but worth the hassle for me because they are so much easier to use. We have a long garden but several taps now my husband has run a pipe up, so I can unclick and move my hose around. It's so light and easy. We don't look after ours very well which is probably the cause of our issues. We have a few different brands; Hozelock doesn't really seem to have performed better than the cheaper alternatives.
