  Thanks - and take photos please.  I expected great things of it and there were certainly some lovely plants but also, it seemed to me, things that needed doing/fixing.
  
  As it's nearby, try and get to Great Dixter too.

  And not far from Dixter is Merriments, l think that has a nice atmosphere (and you can use the 2 for 1 card!), sorry, going a bit OT.

  Yes, I am planning to do both. I've been looking forward to both for years. We are hoping to stay somewhere near by and make a long weekend of it.
