Apricot Variety

Last year Monty recommended an Apricot tree that was hardy enough to grow happily in the UK, can anyone remember what variety it was? I tried to get one at the time, but such is the power of GW there were non available, I now can't remember the name of it, would be grateful for any help anyone can give.

Would those be the dead ones he showed last week? Location will make a big difference in survival prospects both in the geographic sense as well as shelter aspect in individual gardens. I would try one of the specialist fruit nurseries for a recommendation rather than just buying from chain stores.

I did wonder about that, but I would hope he would have mentioned it, if that was the case. I agree with you, I don't use chain stores.
